Palencia, punto de encuentro para profesionales del ámbito de la innovación
- Los días 31 de marzo y 1 de abril, la ciudad de Palencia se convertirá en punto de encuentro para profesionales del ámbito de la innovación.
- El Ayuntamiento de Palencia y la Fundación Santa María la Real del Patrimonio Histórico, en colaboración con Telefónica y la Red Española de Ciudades Inteligentes han organizado el Simposio Smart Patrimonio, que se celebrará el jueves, 31 de marzo, en el centro cultural Lecrác de la capital.
- Será la antesala a la reunión de la Junta Directiva de la Red de Ciudades Inteligentes prevista para el 1 de abril.
Dirigido a responsables y técnicos encargados de la gestión del patrimonio cultural, el Simposio Smart Patrimonio, organizado por la Fundación Santa María la Real y el Ayuntamiento de Palencia, en colaboración con Telefónica y la Red Española de Ciudades Inteligentes, tendrá como principal objetivo demostrar que es posible una gestión inteligente y eficiente del patrimonio.
Para lograrlo, se pondrán en común las diferentes iniciativas y soluciones que varios municipios Castilla y León aplican para conseguirlo. Soluciones de vigilancia o control tecnológico de edificios patrimoniales, bienes culturales y centros o conjuntos históricos. Herramientas basadas en redes de sensores, con un impacto visual mínimo, que permiten un control on line y en tiempo real de aspectos como la seguridad, la eficiencia energética o la gestión.
Casos de éxito
La exposición y el análisis de varios casos de éxito, contados por quienes han participado directamente en su diseño e implementación o por quienes se están beneficiando de su aplicación, servirá para propiciar la reflexión y facilitará la puesta en marcha de nuevas soluciones y aplicaciones orientadas a seguir avanzando en la gestión inteligente del patrimonio.
Así, se expondrá el resultado de la monitorización realizada durante los dos últimos años en la catedral de Palencia; se contará cómo está facilitando el trabajo de los conservadores la monitorización del convento de Santa Clara en Tordesillas y se explicará el porqué de la monitorización de edificios como la catedral de Ávila o la iglesia zamorana de San Martín de Castañeda.
Por la tarde, los asistentes a la jornada podrán visitar y conocer in situ la monitorización de la seo palentina; descubrirán el Cristo del Otero y el centro de interpretación Victorio Macho para conocer de primera mano el sistema de iluminación de la escultura, explicado por un representante de Phillips España. La jornada concluirá en el Museo del Agua, un proyecto pionero en Castilla y León, inaugurado en 2012, para facilitar el conocimiento de la evolución del agua a través de la historia. Un espacio eminentemente divulgativo y didáctico, con un fuerte componente tecnológico.
Reunión de la Red de Ciudades Inteligentes:
El Simposio Smart Patrimonio será el preámbulo de la reunión de la junta directiva de la Red Española de Ciudades Inteligentes (RECI), que ha elegido Palencia como escenario y que tendrá lugar el día 1 de abril. No en vano, la capital palentina es una de las 65 ciudades españolas que actualmente integran la RECI.
La asociación empezó a gestarse en junio de 2011 con la firma del ‘Manifiesto por las Ciudades Inteligentes. Innovación para el progreso’, cuyo compromiso era crear una red abierta para propiciar el progreso económico, social y empresarial de las ciudades a través de la innovación y el conocimiento, apoyándose en las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC).
Tras la sesión fundacional, celebrada en Logroño, y sendas sesiones de organización de los grupos de trabajo en A Coruña y Murcia, la Red se constituye formalmente en junio de 2012 en Valladolid. RECI está presidida por el alcalde de Santander, Íñigo de la Serna, y su objetivo es intercambiar experiencias y trabajar conjuntamente para desarrollar un modelo de gestión sostenible y mejorar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos, incidiendo en aspectos como el ahorro energético, la movilidad sostenible, la Administración electrónica, la atención a las personas o la seguridad.
